Why Choose Wild Birding Africa?
Our expertise and dedication to birding have earned us this distinction, ensuring that we provide reliable, knowledgeable, and responsible birding experiences. As part of BirdLife South Africa’s recommended network, we adhere to their strict code of conduct, ensuring sustainable and respectful bird viewing practices that minimize disturbance to the wildlife. Join us for a birding experience that prioritizes conservation and ethical practices in one of the most beautiful ecosystems in the world.
What to Expect?
Our open safari vehicles are fitted with roll-down canvas sides and fleece-lined ponchos to protect you from the elements. These vehicles provide excellent visibility and comfort while maximizing your chances of spotting birds and other wildlife.
This is a private, full-day experience, typically lasting 9–10 hours. You and your group will have exclusive use of the vehicle and the dedicated attention of your birding guide. In some instances, we offer per-seat birding trips (hosted birding days), but we ensure that all guests onboard share a birding interest to make the experience enjoyable for everyone.
While our main focus is on birds, Kruger is home to the Big 5 and a wealth of other mammals, so expect to enjoy excellent wildlife sightings along the way.
