Private Afternoon Safari in Kruger National Park (Open Vehicle)From R4500 per vehicle
A private afternoon safari in the Kruger National Park is a beautiful way to experience Kruger at a slower, more atmospheric pace—especially if you prefer a later start or want to enjoy the park’s warmer light and late-day movement. With a private safari, you have the entire open safari vehicle exclusively for your group, which means no strangers on board, no shared pick-ups, and a drive tailored to your interests.
Afternoons in Kruger have their own rhythm. As the day cools, animals often begin moving toward water and feeding areas, bird activity picks up again, and the light becomes softer and more photographic—ideal for both wildlife viewing and photography.

What to Expect on Your Private Afternoon Kruger Safari
Your safari begins with collection from your accommodation (or a meeting at your chosen Kruger gate). Pick-up is typically between 13:00 and 14:00, depending on the time of year and Kruger gate closing times. Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed when your booking is finalised.
Once inside the park, your guide will plan the afternoon around your goals—whether that’s finding predators, focusing on birds, working the light for photography, or simply enjoying a relaxed drive through productive habitats. Routes are always adjusted according to real conditions on the day, including weather, water availability, and recent sightings.
Comfort Stop Included
We include a comfort stop at a rest camp or designated area where you can stretch your legs, use facilities, and purchase refreshments where available. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks (no alcohol permitted on the vehicle).
Duration & Return Time
This private afternoon safari runs until gate closing time. We exit the park at closing and then proceed with drop-off back at your accommodation. Because gate closing times change seasonally, the total duration of the safari will vary slightly throughout the year.
Why Choose a Private Afternoon Safari?
Ethical Guiding, Always
Our approach is calm, professional, and respectful. We don’t chase, crowd, or pressure animals for photos. We read behaviour, give wildlife space, and let the bush unfold naturally—because that’s how the best safari moments happen.
