- Option 1: Overnight in the Park (Recommended)
Stay inside the park for maximum wildlife immersion. By overnighting within Kruger, you avoid daily gate transfers and permit processing, giving you more time to focus on photography. Plus, you can choose to join optional night drives or guided walks around camp to capture Africa’s fascinating nocturnal creatures. - Option 2: Stay Outside the Park
Stay at a lodge or hotel on the park’s outskirts, entering Kruger as a day visitor on both days. While this option offers lodge comfort, you will need to drive to the gate each morning and process permits before entering.

Personalized ExperienceFor Every Photographer
Private Safaris:
All our photographic safaris are private, ensuring you and your group have exclusive use of the vehicle and dedicated photographic guide throughout your trip. Your guide’s full attention and expertise are focused on helping you capture incredible images.
Extended Safari Hours:
Unlike typical 8-hour safaris, our day trips run from gate opening to gate closing. Early mornings and late afternoons offer the best light and animal activity, so we maximize your shooting opportunities by spending full days in the park. Pickup times depend on gate openings and your location but typically aim for entry between 05:30 and 06:00. We stay until gate closing unless you request otherwise.
Typical 2 Day Photographic Safari Itinerary
Day 1
We pick you up and transfer you to the nearest Kruger gate (pickup location and time arranged upon booking). At the gate, we hold a brief chat to align on your photographic goals and set expectations. Then, the safari adventure begins!
Throughout the day, we stop briefly for refreshments as we pursue prime photographic opportunities. You’ll check in at your camp around 14:00 (timing flexible), then head out again for an afternoon safari to capture stunning images in the golden light. After returning at gate closing, enjoy a delicious dinner at camp and discuss plans for the next day. Optional night drives or flashlight walks are available to photograph nocturnal wildlife.
Day 2
Early rise with packed bags, ready for gate opening. Enjoy coffee and rusks while watching the sunrise — a perfect time for wildlife activity and beautiful light. The day’s safari continues until your departure time, depending on flights, shuttles, or other plans.
